Sunstone is found in SOuth Norway, Sweeden an the United States.

It is a plagioclase feldspar tg=hat shows a spangled appearance when viewed from certain directions. This spangled rffect is caused by mineral Hematite inclusions, Goethite, Pyrite and in some rare instances, Copper.

It is a member of the Trigonal crystal system.

Metaphysically, Sunstone is said to be a stone of leadership, encouraging the wearer to be open, benevolent and willing to bestow blessings upon others. Also known as the stone of joy, Sunstone is believe to inspre good nature and an enjoyment of life.
