Selenite is a form of fypsum. It was formed when the salinity of the sea water dissolved in the sedimentary layer of clay, sad, and other sedimentary rocks.

It is a member of the monoclinic crystal system.

Metaphysically, Selenite is an amazing cleansing stone. Keep it with other crystals, to keep them cleansed and charged at all times.
