Clear Quartz is found all over the world. It is created in either igneous rock, or environments where there are geothermal waters.

Quartz forms when magma cools. As silicon dioxide cools, it crystalizes. The slower it cools, the larger the crystal will grow!

It is a member of the Trigonal crystal system at room temperature, and the Hexagonal crystal system at extremely hot temperatures.

Metaphysically, Clear Quartz has the ability to enhance mental clarity. It is popular in meditation and restorative work.  It's also often used for manifestation and can help create more focus and clarity around a desire. It is a protective stone and can be used to amplify psychic abilities.
