Collection: Bumble bee Jasper

"Bumble bee Jasper" is a trade name for colourful, fibrous calcite.

It was found at Mount Papandayan, West Java, Indonesia.

The material is made of radically grown fibrous calcite with distinctive yellow, orange and black banding.

The orange in this stone is from arsenides and sulfides. ( PLEASE WASH HANDS AFTER TOUCHING), while the black is Pyrite.

This stone is NOT a true Jasper. It contains no Quartz.
