Black Tourmaline (Schorl) is found in Brazil, Africa and Germany. It is made up of Sodium, Iron, Aluminum, Borate, Silicate. It is found i granite, and other metamorphic rocks such as schist and marble.

Tourmaline comes in many different colours, but Schorl is only Black.

It is a member of the Trigonal crystal system.

Metaphysically, Black Tourmaline is known as a powerful grounding stone, electrical in nature, providing a connection between Earth and the human spirit. Its supportive energy aligns the energy center of the body and channels healing light throughout the system.
